Olay Regenerist Complexion Correction Cream

Hello lovely! Today I'm really excited to bring you an exclusive product launch review. It's the Olay Regenerist Complexion Correction Cream.

I'm going to try and reign in said excitement about this product so that I can relay some of the facts for you.

This brand new product from Olay is branded as a 3-in-1 product, but I'd actually say it's a 4-in-1. It's a serum, moisturiser, sheer foundation and it also contains SPF 15.

It all sounds a bit too good to be true doesn't it? My other worry when reading through the product release notes was that it only comes in 3 shades; lightest, medium and darkest skin tones. This seemed like a brave move by Olay, but nonetheless, I was intrigued...

When the product arrived, I was instantly reminded of the Stila One Step Correct. It's a similar packaging - but one massive point to note from the offset is the absolutely massive 50ml of product. I'm super impressed with this as it will last the average user absolutely ages.

The tube is plastic and has a decent pump top - so it's easy to control the amount of product and it makes it very easy to travel with. Happy Days!

When you pump out some product onto your hands you can see the serum, moisturiser and foundation clearly. When then applying this to the face it's absolutely seemless in terms of blending. It feels exactly like a moisturiser and it absorbs so beautifully into the face.

You can use this alone or under make up. I'd go so far as to say that if you are someone who rarely uses foundation, or indeed doesn't at all - then this could be an everyday standalone staple for you. For me, I like (need...) a heavier coverage. So I use this underneath my foundation to prep & prime my skin and to even my skin tone.

I think this product blows every BB cream I have ever tried out of the water. So if you're a big fan of BB creams, you simply have to give this a go and let me know what you think.

When I realised that I had fallen head over heels in love with this product, I gathered 2 good friends of mine who don't use a daily moisturiser or foundation at all - and urged them to let me try this product on their skin. One of them has subsequently purchased this product and uses it daily - woo hoo!
So here's the lowdown, Geek to Chic style...
  • The product contains serum, moisturiser, a sheer foundation and SPF 15.
  • The bottle has a whopping 50ml of product.
  • It retails at £24.99. (Don't forget to see if you have Boots points to use!)
  • It's billed to perfect complexion, hydrate, reduce wrinkles and minimise dark spots.
  • It comes in 3 shades, lightest, medium and darkest skin tones.
  • It blends & matches your skin tone - opt for your nearest shade & don't worry if it's not 'spot on'.
  • It's perfect for use under make up - or completely on it's own.
And finally, it has the biggest 'Geek to Chic Stamp of Approval' of any product I have ever reviewed. I absolutely adore this product and can't wait for it to be properly released.

If you have chance to get your hands on this product - snap it up! And let me know how you get on.

You can buy this online at Boots.com or in your local store.

Always Geek, Forever Chic,
Laura.
